The most popular day hike at Lake Crescent is the 0.9 mile (1.4 km) one way trail to Marymere Falls. This trail goes through old growth forest to a 90-foot (27 meter) waterfall. The trail starts from the Storm King Ranger Station but can also be accessed from Lake Crescent Lodge.
Do you need a pass for Marymere Falls?

Can you swim in Lake Crescent Washington?

Go Swimming: The lake’s waters are deep blue and very clear thanks to the lack of nitrogen. All that algae-free water may tempt you to pack your bathing suits–go ahead, provided you don’t mind chilly water (brrrr… the water temperature stays about 44 degrees year-round).
Where can you see Lake Crescent?
Lake Crescent Lodge is located at Barnes Point on Lake Crescent Road, just off Highway 101. The Log Cabin Resort is located on East Beach Road, north of Highway 101. Both are generally open from late spring until early fall.
Can you swim at Dungeness Spit?
You can swim in the Dungeness River, although it, too, is on the chilly side. I have seen locals swim in the river off the Dungeness River Dyke at the end of Towne Road in Sequim. If you decide to do this, don’t do it alone. Always swim with at least one other person.

Near the shores of Lake Crescent, depart from the Storm King Ranger Station on a paved path and continue through the old-growth forest for 0.5 miles to a junction. At the junction, follow the left path, continuing upstream under a towering green canopy of conifers and maples.
