How long is the ride on Shotover Jet? You will spend up to 25 minutes on the water but should allow 1 hour if self-driving to our river base, or 1 hour 45 minutes return if taking our transport from Queenstown return including your ‘Jet Boat’ ride.
How safe are jet boats?
Jet boats can be dangerous, but the statistics show that the jet boats are 4 times safer than other motorized boats (including both open and cabin motorboats). And by doing a few changes to the way you ride the boat, you can dramatically reduce the risk of injury and dangers.

Where does the Shotover Jet leave from?
We are located on Gorge Road at 3 Arthurs Point (approximately a 10 minute drive from Queenstown). Please check in at the river base at least 30 minutes before the trip time. Can you go jet boating when pregnant?
If for any reason, medical or otherwise, you are unable to get into and out of the jet boat without assistance, you are required to have two support people who are able to get you in and out and they must also be booked on your trip. Unfortunately if you are pregnant we do not recommend that you ride on the jet boat.

How early can I book The hukafalls jet ride?
Bookings can be made right up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time for the Hukafalls Jet ride, but we require 72 hours notice for the combo products online. If you wish to travel within 72hours on a combo, please call us on 0800 485 253 and we’ll see what we can arrange for you!
What is hukafalls jet’s refund policy for no-shows?
Once booked and paid, there are no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If the trip is cancelled due to adverse weather or for any other reason by Hukafalls Jet, a full refund will be given. These prices are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
