What should I set my humidor to?
It is important to maintain your humidor below the maximum temperature of 73°F (23°C) and between 65-74% humidity. Ideal conditions are 70°F (21°C) and 70% humidity. We recommend having a digital hygrometer/thermometer to better control the temperature and relative humidity inside your humidor.
Do you need Boveda packs in a humidor?
When you’re using Boveda to keep your cigars fresh, simply remove the pack from the cellophane sleeve and place it in your humidor. Boveda packs release humidity through osmosis and last anywhere from a few months to six months, or longer, in some cases. If you use extra Boveda packs, they last the longest.
Can you leave cigars in the box in a humidor?

Should I leave my cigars in the plastic wrapper?
Once you’ve bought the cigar and are placing it in your humidor, we recommend you remove the cellophane. Cellophane will prevent humidity from reaching the cigar, and you’ll find the cigars will respond to humidification better if the overwrap has been removed.
Is 72% humidity too high for cigars?
Premium cigars don’t respond well to lots of fluctuation in temperature or humidity. You can boost the humidity up a bit when the temperature is cooler, but we don’t recommend exceeding 72% RH. Your cigars will smoke perfectly as long as you maintain a steady environment between 63 to 70 degrees and 65 to 72% RH.
Is it OK for Boveda packs to touch cigars?

Do you need to burp with Boveda?
Before the advent of humidity control packets, growers had to open jars to release excess moisture. Curing with Boveda eliminates the need to burp cannabis to regulate moisture. (Boveda automatically absorbs excess moisture, after all.)
Can I use a wooden cigar box as humidor?
A: Yes, but if you’re going to use a factory-made cigar box, whether it be from Rocky Patel or any manufacturer, it should have some of the same qualities as traditional humidor. Only use an ALL WOODEN, Spanish cedar-lined box, preferably with thick walls for better insulation.
