Does Fox show AFC games?
Under the current contracts since 2014, regionally shown games on Sunday afternoons are televised on CBS and Fox, which primarily carry games of AFC and NFC teams respectively (the conference of the away team generally determines the broadcaster of an inter-conference game).
Why are there AFC games on Fox?
In 2014, the league introduced “cross-flexing,” which allows a select number of games annually that would have typically aired on Fox or CBS to be aired on the other Sunday afternoon network. That means, for example, that an all-AFC matchup could air on Fox and an all-NFC game could appear on CBS.
What network has AFC games?
The AFC Championship will feature CBS’ primary broadcast group with Jim Nance and Tony Romo up in the booth, while Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn will be reporting from the sideline.
