Can you get into Oxford with B’s?
I currently have an offer for Oxford despite having two Bs at GCSE, so it’s certainly possible to get in with a few Bs. I think for subjects like Maths, they only really care about how well you do in Maths, so someone who got Bs and Cs in their other subjects might still be able to get in.
Can you edit your college application after submitting?
If you need to change information on a submitted application, you must contact the college’s admissions office directly to ask how they would like you to proceed. For future submissions, you may make changes to any application’s information at any time.
How many times can you apply to Oxford?
You may apply to any particular course only once for 2021-22 study. The only exception is that it may be possible to apply more than once to a research level course, if you are applying with significantly different research proposals and receive authorisation from the relevant academic department.
How do I request feedback from Oxford?
Requests for feedback about any application that has not been shortlisted should be addressed in the first instance to the Admissions Coordinator of the appropriate programme. Requests for feedback after interview should be made to the Tutor for Admissions of the relevant college, as above.

Can you get into Oxford with bad grades?
Yes, your grades will need to really dazzle. GCSEs are seen as evidence of work ethic – and you need a really strong one of those to cope with studying at Oxford or Cambridge. Our ‘guesstimate’ is that the average successful applicant has around eight A* GCSEs – or 8/9 grades under the new system – under their belt.
Can you appeal an Oxford rejection?
An appeal against an admissions decision will not normally be upheld unless there has been a substantial procedural error or irregularity in the decision-making process. You are asked to specify in the Admissions Complaint Form what you believe the error or irregularity to have been.
