Team that I grew up with and that I’ve known as the Springfield Falcons was actually founded fairly recently, back in 1994. Falcons were founded by Bruce Landon and Wayne LaChance. Landon was a member of Springfield Indians, another AHL team that predated the Falcons. Springfield Indians was founded all the way back in 1926.
