Can you use single ply studs in a 2 ply track?
I used some studs with no shoulder, ie studs that were made supposedly for the I ply track or 2 ply, in a 2 ply track and they work fine. However, IMO there is no point. The bigger head is more rolling resistance. If your doing a 2 ply track, use the studs for a 2 ply and use double backers and the smaller head.
