ACLS Certification is required by health care providers working in acute care settings and also by providers of emergency services. The majority of hospitals and emergency services within the United States require that this certification be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).

How does HeartCode ACLS work?

HeartCode ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Students will then be presented with a team dynamics lesson and 10 In-hospital patient cases, including a BLS case and 2 Megacode cases.

Is HeartCode an AHA?

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace.

Can You recertify ACLS online?

Your ACLS certification is valid for two years. Every two years, you will need to get your ACLS recertification to remain actively certified. You can get your ACLS renewal online through one of our recertification courses. Does ACLS recertification count as CEU?

How to get your ACLS certification?

To enter the course,students must complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment.

Students are then presented with an enhanced learning experience through eSimulations,life-like animations,video scenarios,and knowledge checks.

Cases may be repeated as many times as necessary to pass.

How to become ACLS certified?

A current unexpired AHA provider card in your chosen discipline (i.e.,an ACLS,a BLS,or a PALS provider card).

A strong command of the course content for the course you wish to teach.

A copy of the provider textbook for your chosen discipline (i.e.,ACLS Textbook,BLS Textbook,or PALS Textbook)

It’s possible that the email would have come directly from the Training Center’s email. Run a search with the name of their organization.
