How does a math Kangaroo work?
There are 24 questions for grades 1-4, and 30 questions for grades 5-12. One-third of the questions are worth 3 points, one-third are 4 points, and one-third are 5 points. So the maximum possible score for grades 1-4 is 96, and the maximum possible score for grades 5-12 is 120.
