Gythio Shipwreck Dimitrios shipwreck is an imposing, cargo ship of the 20th century that has been abandoned on Selinitsa beach since 1981. Due to various obstacles, most of which were financial problems, the ship was left adrift at the same spot of the port and in 1981 was declared unsafe.
