Where can I use Celox?
Using Celox blood clotting products is easy. Simply place the Celox on the bleeding area and apply pressure. This pressure forces the haemostat into close contact with the bleeding area, a clot quickly forms and further blood loss prevented.
Can Celox be used in the mouth?
Are there any contraindications? Celox is not intended for internal (surgical) use. Celox should not be used in the eyes. It is not indicated for use in the mouth.
How do you use Celox gauze?
Follow these steps when applying Celox gauze:
- Identify catastrophic external hemorrhage.
- Expose the wound.
- Identify the point of bleeding and apply direct pressure.
- Swab excess blood.
- Pack onto the source of bleeding.
- Apply firm pressure for 3 minutes or until bleeding stops.
Does Celox gauze expire?
Celox has a 5 year shelf life at manufacture. We have tested and proven that Celox will still pass its original specification after 5 years ageing.
