Why is there no Corvette SS?
Initially used for driver training after testing was completed with the LT5 engine, the car featured many of the appearance modifications of SS I for show purposes, but not so much of the performance upgrades and weight-saving mods. The model was never offered to the public for several reasons, primarily due to cost.
