Do Warmoth necks need fret leveling?
Most Warmoth necks are playable as they are received and do not require fret leveling. However, because wood moves with changes in temperature, humidity and string tension fret leveling may be required.
What is a baritone conversion neck?
Conversion necks are a Warmoth innovation that allow you to easily change the scale length of your 25-1/2″ bolt-on guitar to either 24-3/4″ (Gibson® length) or 28-5/8″ (Baritone length). Installing a conversion neck is just as easy as installing a normal neck.

What is a compound neck?
A compound radius neck has a smaller (rounder) radius at the nut, and a larger (flatter) radius at the neck and body joint. As the neck gets wider, the fretboard gets flatter, which is said to be an aid when soloing, especially when bending strings.
